CHANNY

Channy is a 21 year old singer/songwriter based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England.

 

A stage...music...lights, and passion is what makes her feel alive! 

 

Channy gigs regularly and has a wide range of performance credentials...

 

Within the space of two years, Channy has stepped her music career up a gear, initially after entering TeenStar music Competition in 2013. Since then she has rocketed into a whirlwind of performances, supporting X-Factor's Lucy Spraggan, Jake Quickenden & chart topper Karen Harding. Channy has also gigged alongside X-Factor's Luke Friend, Paul Akister and Geoff Mull. Channy has recently performed on the main stage at Northern Pride along side Belinda Carlisle! 

 

Alongside this Channy has performed in some prestigious venues across the country, perfoming in the TeenStar grand finale at the O2 Arena in London, in the Open Mic grand finale at the NEC Arena in Birmingham, in the Soundwave music competition grand finale at The O2 Academy in Newcastle and competing and placing as runner up in Metro Radio Live's Big Audition for 2014 & 2015.

 

In her very first music competition, Channy  won a social media award which took her journey international, performing at 'Tour Music Fest' a music festival in Rome, Italy in November 2013! Following her success, the competition organisers of Teenstar have brought her back as a Guest Act now on several occasions! 

 

Continuing her progression overseas, Channy travelled to Orlando, Florida, where she showcased her talents infront of industry professionals, after being selected by a company called Talent Inc. Channy is continuing with her American pursuit, between New York and LA over the next year! 

 

Alongside regular work for charity and within the local community, Channy has connections with media, press and radio and continues to build her support, through her music and work ethic!
